A little piece of Europe transported to the North Carolina mountains, Riverstead has everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing visit: hot tub, riverside fire pit, inside fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, wine refrigerator, wraparound porch, and many other amenities.
One lovely feature of Riverstead is the wraparound porch where you can sit, sip and watch the river flow by. American bald eagles, herons and Canadian geese routinely make their way up and down the river. Deer are also frequent visitors.
The cabin is located just 15 minutes away from West Jefferson with its shops, art galleries, cinemas, coffee shops, wine tasting bar, breweries, and restaurants.
AMENITIES: Hot tub, fire pit, outdoor gas grill, gas fireplace in the great room, Smart TVs (streaming logins not provided), Wi-Fi (300mpbs), washer/dryer, and central heating/air.
MAIN LEVEL:
King (Bedroom 1), Smart TV, Full Bathroom (walk-in shower), and closet with hangers and luggage rack.

Kitchen – fully equipped with refrigerator, wine refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, hand mixer, and blender. Plenty of dishes, silverware, skillets, pots, pans, wine glasses, and barbeque utensils. Dining table with seating for 6 and 4 stools at the breakfast bar.
Great Room – Gas fireplace, 65” Smart TV (streaming logins not provided), games, puzzles, and books for children and adults.
UPPER LEVEL:

What a great place to stay! We had to change places to stay last minute due to a well problem at another house and wow, It couldn't have been any more perfect! The porch sitting was our favorite, sitting relaxing and overlooking the river! This house was very well stocked for whatever we needed! It was also spotless upon our arrival! It was so cozy and comfortable! Thank your for sharing your place with us, and letting us stay and enjoy on such a short notice! The Best Modern Cabin!
This cabin is brand new and the attention to detail is amazing. We arrived and noticed immediately how much thought and care went into the building and decorating of the space. The amenities are perfection- fully outfitted kitchen for any cooking needs, plenty of clean towels and linens, games, books, hot tub, and direct access to the river. It's also perfectly located- tucked away in the mountains but close to restaurants and stores. I would love to come back sometime in the warmer months to take advantage of the outdoor activities, but cozying up with family in front of the fireplace was exactly what we needed after a busy Christmas.
