Spout Branch Cabin on the New River - Warrensville

Spout Branch is a beautiful home! It's very nice and relaxing sitting on the porch listening to river rushing. This was my second stay and plan to continue to rent in the future!

We love this cabin! This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and we have enjoyed it both times. It is a very peaceful place to go and unwind. We recommend it to anyone that needs some time to relax. We love sitting on the porch and watching the river flow by. Hope to visit again in 2025.

We so enjoy staying at this cabin. Beautiful property on the river, comfortable beds, living area, well stocked kitchen and its only a short distance to West Jefferson and Lansing. Highly reccomend.

We always enjoy our stay at s pout Branch Cabin. Evenings, when the deer and the fire flies emerge seemingly out of nowhere...are enchanting. Add the sounds of the creek and river, wind in the trees, and a crackling camp fire and everything seems perfect. We will stay here again!

The pictures do not do this property justice! It rained the majority of our stay but it didn't bother us one bit. We sat on the front porch listening to the rain and the creek rushing. This was by far the most peaceful and relaxing birthday weekend!! I will definitely rent Spout Branch again!

This cabin was perfect for our family weekend away. Although this house is smaller, there were 6 adults and it never felt like we needed more space. Being right on the water was so peaceful! Will absolutely be back!

Had a wonderful time at Spout Branch Cabin that included meeting the owner James and getting a tour of all he had built. James is a special person with immense skills and imagination (along with being a very nice man). He has built a beautiful cabin and shop with water wheel. My brother in law and I both were very impressed.

This was a beautiful, peaceful rejuvenating time at the cabin. It was breathtakingly beautiful with the Fall colors. God’s handiwork was on display. Showed us how the Water Wheel works. It was a pleasure and we enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.

Very quaint and quiet cabin, very clean, very relaxing and enjoyable. Loved all the added features like the hammock, fire pit, enjoyed the water, seeing the water wheel, the fishing and in general the area was so peaceful, great place for families.

wonderful place, some traffic noise but the entire location is amazing. the outdoor area works on so many levels for so many different people. porch sitting, deer watching across the river, the swings and play area. set up our corn hole tables and had fires and family time every night. the cabin is simple but complete with all we needed to enjoy our visit. will be back soon.

What an amazing spot! Private. Right on the river. Fish were biting every day! We are planning to return in the fall. The cabin is beautiful. For those worried about the a/c...don't. We took fans and directed the cool air upstairs. It was so cool in the evenings we didn't have to worry about it. The only thing that was missing from the kitchen was a colander for draining pasta and a sharp pairing knife. CAUTION: There is a hornet nest at the peak on the playhouse! It's a pretty big one. Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot. We will be back!

This place is magnificent. It give the peace that we were looking for in our vacation. One of my favorite things is the opportunity to meet the owner and know the history of building something that he always wanted. The fireflies are everywhere which adds to the greatness of this cabin. We didn’t want to leave. This was the second time we have stayed here and we will be back. It is definitely our favorite place we have stayed as a family.

Beautiful place with super cool touches - especially outside. If they can add a hot tub that would make the place perfect - to me that’s another nice thing to have after a long day or two of hiking. Very unique and interesting place - kids loved the substantial swings!

We come to the mountains every spring. This was one of our very best get-aways. The cabin was perfect. The scenery was awesome. We loved meeting and talking with the owner. Could not have had a more relaxing time.

This is our second visit to Spout Branch Cabin. It was immaculate as always! The only improvement suggestions would be a decent non-stick frying pan. We might bring our own the next time. Also, the downstairs shower curtain rod is installed sideways so that the curtain falls to the center. It should be installed so the "bulge" is to the outside of the tub. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. We love how clean, well built (with much attention to detail), and well situated the cabin is. Hopefully, back again in the fall.

Absolutely fell in love with this property. The cabin was great (and clean). The waterfall was right beside the cabin and was just beautiful not to mention very calming. It actually snowed the day we arrived which for south Georgians was a treat. We met the property owner and he was such a nice man. He and my husband hit it off right away. They had a lot in common. The only complaint I would have is there is no central air for a summer stay, which is already in the works.

Spout Branch Cabin was VERY clean, bigger than expected, right on the river, and was everything as advertised. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything and then some. The only issue (no canister for the coffee pot) was fixed within an hour of calling the rental folks. This place was a definite WOW!. Will most assuredly rent here again.

Clean, comfortable, simple cabin in a deluxe setting with Spout Branch in the side yard and the New River in the front yard. Easy to get to, and though highway noise can be heard the creek running by the front door drowns most of it out.

Our visit exceeded expectations! The sounds and sights on the property were enchanting. Each evening we made sure to be on the front porch to watch the light show. Thousands of lightning bugs danced in the fields and trees while deer grazed in the tall grass just across the river. Our kids hung their hammocks in the trees above the river and slept there on the nights it didn't rain. We went on hikes nearby and into West Jefferson, but our favorite days were spent just around the cabin.

When you review this cabin online, it is: "what you see, is what you get." It is exactly as pictured and described. If it is privacy that you are looking for, this is it! There are no neighbors on top of you, there are neighbors nearby but certainly at a very comfortable distance. I had the privilege to meet the owner of the cabin, James. If you get the opportunity to speak with him, please don't pass it up, there are details and history about this property, how he acquired it, and built it himself that will amaze you!

Our stay at the cabin was nothing short of perfect! As soon as we unpacked, it felt just like home. It's easy to see the owner has a beautiful mind from what he created on that property, and you can feel the positive/good energy associated with it. The yard is excellent for relaxing outside with family. This stay made us completely reevaluate what it is we're looking for in our lives, in the best way possible. We will be returning late summer or early fall.

This house and property was phenomenal! My husband loved it! My adult son and daughternlove loved it as well My grandson (6yo) and granddaughter (3yo) absolutely loved the outdoors there!!! The only problems we had were the guys didn't catch any fish, ( it was soo cold, the fish, I'm sure was somewhere much deeper) and we just didn't have the extra time to reserve it longer than the weekend!!! The kitchen seemed to have ample supplies at least for the weekend stay. The linens were well stocked and the house is cozy and awesome! The mattress in the bedroom downstairs was a bit uncomfortable sleeping on the side close to the door. The next night I slept near the front of house and it was a bit more comfortable. We all were very pleased with our weekend stay at this home and plan to reserve again in the spring!!

Had a wonderful relaxing time at spout branch. Enjoyed sitting by the river and watch the sunset each night along with bonfire before bed. Was wonderful to hear the little waterfall beside the kitchen window. Could hear it from the front porch also. Will definitely go back.

Thank you so much for making this lovely cabin available for rental. The 'log' cabin was so nice and perfectly appointed. However, the real star is the property. The porch, hammock, slide/swing, fire pit, creek/waterfall and river were all highlights for our family. We had a great weekend enjoying the outside playing in the yard, in the creek and river. We celebrated our 8 year old's birthday and had a great time fishing, swimming and just relaxing. The sound of the creek, fresh air and beautiful view/setting were just what we needed. Thanks! PS - The only thing that was a bummer was that the Keurig coffee maker was missing a piece and didn't work. We had to run to town to pick up regular coffee before we could enjoy our 1st cup to start the day. Hopefully that is something that can be easily fixed for the next guests.

Overall the house was awesome. It could use an exhaust fan in the Master Bedroom and a bigger TV. Need a TV in all Bedrooms upstairs. Better AC unit didn’t cool upstairs too well. Met the owner he was very nice and explained things around the property.
